The Women In Film and Television International (WIFTI) organization chose Logikbox to redesign and extend their web sites functionality. After listening to WIFTI’s needs and concerns we came up with a proposal to help promote the organization and meet it’s growing on-line needs.
We enabled the web site with a New Classroom application for members. The site can support multiple classes with many lessons. Assignments can be downloaded and emailed to the teacher or lecturers. Interactive chat application and bulletin board allows for group studies, and what would a Film class be without streaming video for examples?
An interactive calendar allows individual chapters to maintain their own events. Visitors can see all events on a day or filter by country or chapter location. Rich HTML description pages are associated with each event for lengthy details. An extensive photo gallery can be added to events pages to show off event highlights.
A news archive allowed for posting of relevant information and gives members a resource for research. Employment tools allow chapters to post listing of jobs or services needed and accept resumes via the website. Individual posting can be sent to specific users to stream line the process of getting employers in contact with potential candidates.
